Surfing, fishing, diving, walking or biking along the beach and green areas, exploring the tide pools at low tide, horseback riding. There is not enough time in a one day to do it all…a good problem to have!
CULTURE
Nicaragua has a rich culture to share. The main 3 cities for discovering the local folklore are Managua, Granada, and Leon. The capital Managua is the center where you will find all the big happenings. Leon and Granada are 1-hour and 2-hours’ drive away from Finca Del Mar, respectively. Both towns boast Colonial Architecture and an authentic old-town feel. Discovering the authentic Nicaraguan culture is as easy as a day trip or an overnight stay.
VOLCANOS, LAKES, and MARKETS
Day trips to the many volcanoes, lakes, and markets strewn around the country are easily accessible from Finca Del Mar.
DEEP SEA FISHING
The waters just out front of Finca Del Mar are still an unspoiled beauty. Fishing charters can be booked through Fishnica with Captain Dan.
GOLF
A nine-hole golf course can be played at the adjacent resort.
RESTAURANT, YOGA AND MASSAGES
Los Cardones Ecolodge offers restaurant service all day, with a wholesome menu including locally caught seafood, pizza, and vegetarian dishes. Yoga lessons and massages are available all year.
