INFRASTRUCTURE
WATER
Pure groundwater is supplied through a deep well situated in the FDM Service Area. The water is pumped to an aerial tank, filtered to insure it is potable, and then gravity-fed to the community. Water quality is insured through compliance with EPA Standards for Drinking Water Regulations and Testing Schedules.
ELECTRICITY
Pacific Nicaragua is blessed with constant sunlight, making solar systems very efficient solutions to your electricity needs. With an average solar insolation of 5.9kWh/m2/day throughout the year, a house can be powered entirely by solar energy.
Three-Phase electrical service is available as a service of the Nicaraguan Distribution Company Union Fenosa. Their electricity production was 52% green in 2014, shooting for 90% by 2017.
ROAD
The community has an all-season compacted earth road internally.
